About us

Improving lives by creating a better built environment

William Mohan, the founder of WJM Engineering Inc., has always been passionate about solving complex technical problems. William was also fascinated by aviation from an early age. This combination of interests led to a dual career as an engineer and pilot. William started his career as a mechanical engineer for a chemical process facility while working part-time as a flight instructor. When an opportunity presented itself to become a corporate pilot, he pursued his second passion vigorously and ultimately became an airline pilot for a major carrier. The pilot profession afforded William with ample time to continue working in the engineering profession. This work included project management and plant engineering, in addition to obtaining a master’s degree in environmental engineering.

After a downturn in the airline industry in 2001, William decided to pursue his engineering career full time and incorporated WJM Engineering, Inc. to provide engineering solutions for his clients. The business grew into the firm it is today by providing exceptional service and receiving referrals from a growing list of satisfied clients. William’s business philosophy is simple; provide the best possible service to each client. William has developed a team of dedicated and hard-working professionals who enjoy solving their client's most complex problems while pursuing lifelong learning opportunities.
